Minimum Education:
|
Minimum of associate’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or closely related field from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university; bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or PE certification is preferred.
|
|
Minimum Experience:
|
Minimum of three years of full-time, paid, in-field work experience in the electrical utility industry. Teaching experience in classroom setting and on-line preferred. Must be willing to work flexible hours at multiple locations, juggle multiple and competing priorities, and participate in appropriate staff development and campus activities. Candidate must work well in the classroom and supervising students in classroom, internship sites, and on-line environments. Must be able to develop curriculum, develop and evaluate lesson plans, direct and assess students’ progress in achieving required competencies, and handle administrative responsibilities related to scheduling and teaching of courses. Positive attitude and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Being bilingual is a plus.

Description:
|
This full-time position will be responsible for planning, organizing, teaching and scheduling courses in the Electrical Utility Technology Department for certificate, diploma, and associate’s degree programs. This person will also assist with quarterly registration and orientation activities and annual graduation events.
|
